Scenario

A hypothetical Web3 community wants access to an application based on an agreed membership rule. The demonstration will use test accounts and a selected test network, not live customer assets.

Walkthrough to build

  • Connect a supported wallet and inspect the sign-in request
  • Cancel signing, then retry with a fresh challenge
  • Verify membership and enter the permitted screen
  • Switch accounts and test denied or unavailable membership states

Proposed architecture decisions

Keep message verification on the server and isolate chain access behind a resolver. Represent unknown membership separately from allowed and denied states. Keep login separate from transaction authorization.

Proof the demo needs to show

  • Replay and expired challenges do not create sessions
  • Account switching cannot reuse another identity’s private response
  • An unavailable chain service does not grant access

How it can be adapted

Wallet identity, session logic and membership resolution are planned as separate parts so a future customer can replace the access rule without rewriting the entire application.

Evidence to publish after implementation

Publish the supported-wallet matrix, test-network details and failure-state recordings after implementation. No audit or production deployment has been completed for this concept.
