Record evidence, owners and outstanding checks before a Web3 or AI release.

Use this editable checklist to review a Web3 or AI release with evidence and named owners. Version 1.1 keeps the general software checks and adds five Web3 cases alongside five AI workflow scenarios, with space to record expected behaviour and actual results.

What it covers

The general review covers scope and permissions, followed by deployment, recovery and handover. Web3 cases cover sign-in replay, payment terms, duplicate delivery, revoked authority and recovery after transaction submission. The AI section gives you starting cases for missing answers, denied access, a provider timeout, a repeated action and human handoff.

These are proposed checks. The document starts with untested rows, so you can adapt it to your system without inheriting someone else's pass marks.

Use it in a review

Make a copy and identify the release candidate and test environment. Agree the expected result for each applicable case, run it, then add the actual result and evidence. Assign an owner to anything still open. Record the release decision separately, including the scope you are approving and any accepted limitations.

Keep credentials and confidential customer data out of any copy you share publicly. This is a review aid, not an exhaustive audit or certification. You may copy and adapt it for your own projects and client work. There are no runtime dependencies or included support subscription.

Read From AI Prototype to Production in a Web3 Product for the reasoning behind these cases. The handover guide covers operational ownership. For help with wallets, payments or membership, review Web3 development; for an AI feature in your existing application, see AI integration.
